Returns and Credits
It is the customer’s responsibility to inform GC Gift Boxes and Hampers if an order does not arrive. Once you inform us, we will make enquiries with the courier to ensure delivery occurs as soon as possible. We will not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from late delivery.
If your gift has been damaged prior to receipt, we will replace items accordingly or refund the value of the damaged goods. Just repack the item in its original packaging, if possible, and return to sender. We are available to assist you regarding a return or credit query between 9.00am and 5:00pm, on 07 5535 2879 or contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
In accordance with our terms and conditions herein, it is agreed that a late delivery does not constitute a failure of our agreement and does not entitle cancellation of an order.
Any cancellation or alteration to an order must be made in writing, at least 24 hours prior to delivery. Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been processed and are in transit to the recipient’s premises.
Notification of Delivery Fees
In any instance where multiple gift deliveries are to be sent to the same address or where delivery restrictions apply, the price quoted online for delivery charges will differ. If this occurs we will contact you via email or phone to inform you of the correct price that will be charged, prior to delivery.
Note: We do require a valid phone number and email address on your order to assist in contacting you immediately should we have any questions or concerns regarding your order.
GC Gift Boxes and Hampers can not be held responsible for damaged or missing hampers if authority has been given for a courier to leave a gift at recipient’s address without a signature.
Proof of delivery will be obtained via our courier partner in this event and verification that the gift was delivered and left, as requested, will be given from the freight company, on request.
Should you enter the incorrect delivery address at the time of ordering, re-delivery to the correct address will be at customer’s expense. Please enter as much information as possible in the shipping details, including recipient’s first and last name, phone number in case we have a problem with delivery, unit number and building name if there is one, street number and correct postcode. Details regarding your delivery charge and estimated delivery time may be inaccurate should the information entered be incorrect.
The closing date for pre-Christmas interstate deliveries is the 10th December. Local Orders can still be taken up until 20th December, however pre-Christmas delivery cannot be guaranteed.
GC Gift Boxes and Hampers is pleased to provide a complimentary and personalised, handwritten, gift card with every hamper. Simply complete your message in the space provided on the checkout page. The customer should ensure that their personalised message is written to their satisfaction. GC Gift Boxes and Hampers accepts no responsibility for incorrect spelling, grammar or punctuation.
Substitution of Products
We endeavour to ensure that all gifts delivered are identical to the images advertised on our website. In the event that a product or paper colour is unavailable or out of stock at the time of ordering we reserve the right to substitute that product with another similar item. We do guarantee that the replacement item will be equal to or greater in value than the original item.
Your personal details will never be given or sold to any other parties. When you purchase from GC Gift Boxes and Hampers, you are automatically ‘opted in’ to receive email updates from GC Gift Boxes and Hampers from time to time, however you can change your preferences at any time by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ link in any of these emails.
Credit Card Information
Credit card information that you provide to us by telephone or online is not kept on file. We securely submit credit card information to our bank for processing. You will need to provide us with your credit card information each and every time that you order.
Office Hours & Weekend Hours
Our office hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm, Queensland time, Monday to Friday. Our office is closed on Public Holidays. If all our phones are busy you will be diverted directly to an answering machine and we will return your call as soon as possible. We understand that your time is too valuable to be kept waiting on hold. All calls made outside business hours will also be diverted to an answering machine and answered on the next business day.
Goods and Services Tax (GST)
Our products and services attract a Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10%. All prices advertised are inclusive of GST.
Purchase of Gifts containing alcohol
GC Gift Boxes and Hampers supports the Responsible Service of Alcohol. It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years.
Purchaser Representation: By ticking the ‘I agree’ button during the checkout process, the purchaser represents that they and the recipient of the gift being ordered, are over 18 years old. The purchaser accepts that it is an offence to falsely represent they are of legal age to purchase alcohol and to obtain alcohol on behalf of a person who is under 18 years.
Upon delivery of any gifts containing alcohol, the recipient maybe required to provide a valid ID for proof of age and sign for the goods.
