Where can I put instructions for delivery?

Instructions for delivery can be typed into the delivery instructions box on check out.  Requested date is also able to be selected at checkout. This information is sent to us, along with your order.

What is your cancellation policy?

If for some reason you must cancel your order please let us know as soon as possible. Orders cancelled 24 hours before dispatch with the courier will be refunded in full. Once an order has been shipped a refund cannot be made.

Returns Policy

If any product is faulty, not of merchantable quality or not fit for its intended purpose, please contact us within one week by email at accounts@gcgiftboxesandhampers.com.au, sending a photo of the product in question and one of our customer service team will assist with your request.

GC Gift Boxes and Hampers will offer a replacement product, credit note or refund at its discretion subject to the requirements of the Australian Consumer Law in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)

How is my personal information used?

Your personal details will never be given or sold to any other parties. Your details are needed so that we can send you an invoice/receipt. The recipient’s phone number is needed in the case of delivery issues.

Can I change the products in the basket?

All gift boxes, baskets and hampers can be customised to suit your individual needs.  Please contact us to arrange a quote and to discuss any special requirements.

How can I place an order?
Online Ordering  – shop with total security and ease through our online ordering system. GC Gift Boxes and Hampers offers a secured online shopping protected by SSL layer.
Telephone Ordering  – call us to discuss any questions or inquiries that you may have and to place your order on 07 5535 2879, Monday – Friday 9.00am – 3.00pm (AEST).
Email Ordering  – please email us at accounts@gcgiftboxesandhampers with any questions, special requests or your order and we will contact you within 24 hours of receiving your email.

What hours are you open?
The GC Gift Boxes and Hamper’s office is staffed from 9am till 3.00pm, Monday to Friday. However orders can be placed 24 hours a day through our website.

What happens if a product in a gift is unavailable?
If a product is temporarily unavailable, GC Gift Boxes and Hampers reserves the right to substitute a product of equal or greater value. This also extends to all gift presentation.

How much is delivery?
The pricing for sending gifts is based on the greater of the actual weight and cubic weight, once the gift is packaged into a courier delivery box. Prices are for one gift only and are based on a specified size and weight (cubic weight of 5kg for all gifts outside of Gold Coast) and if a gift is outside these perimeters, an additional delivery fee may be required to be charged. In the event of this happening, we will contact you to discuss these charges.

All orders placed during the weekend or on public holidays will be processed on the next working day. 

Gold Coast  – $15.00 – We always attempt same day delivery (Metro Areas) but can only confirm if ordered by 9am (Monday to Friday). All orders placed during the weekend or on public holidays will be processed on the next working day. Add an extra day for deliveries to outer suburbs and non metro areas.

Brisbane, Banora Point, Tallebudgera Valley, Coomera Waters, Upper Coomera, Kingscliff, Murwillumbah, Byron Bay, Ormeau, Pimpama, Yatala  – $18.00 – 2-3 days (Metro Areas) if ordered by 12 noon (AEST) the day prior to delivery (Monday to Friday). All orders placed during the weekend or on public holidays will be processed on the next working day.  Add an extra day for deliveries to outer suburbs and non metro areas.

Ipswich, Toowoomba  – $20.00 -2-3 days service (Metro Areas ) if ordered by 1.00 pm the day prior to delivery  (Monday to Friday). All orders placed during the weekend or on public holidays will be processed on the next working day.  Add an extra day for deliveries to outer suburbs and non metro areas.

Sunshine Coast  – $22.00 -2-3 days service (Metro Areas ) if ordered by 12 noon (AEST) the day prior to delivery  (Monday to Friday). All orders placed during the weekend or on public holidays will be processed on the next working day.  Add an extra day for deliveries to outer suburbs and non metro areas.

Canberra, Sydney, Wollongong, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Newcastle, Central Coast, Maryborough, Bundaberg, Gladstone, Rockhampton   –  $22.00 -2-3 days service (Metro Areas) if ordered by 12 noon (AEST). Add an extra day for deliveries to outer suburbs and non metro areas and for orders placed after 12 noon.

Melbourne, Geelong, Bendigo, Albury Wodonga  – $25.00 – 3-4 days service (Metro Areas) if ordered by 12 noon (AEST)Add an extra day for deliveries to outer suburbs and non metro areas and orders placed after 12 noon.

Volume Discounts of Hampers to the Same Destination*

If you are ordering 6 or more gifts for delivery to the same address, please ring our office on 07 5535 2879 and you may be eligible for free delivery.

In rural areas we cannot guarantee a delivery date, however we will deliver as close as possible to your requested date.

We only use courier companies that are able to carry fragile parcels, due to the fragile nature of our gifts.

*When ordering, you must supply a business address or physical street address for deliveries. Deliveries cannot be made to PO Boxes.

Orders placed over the weekend and public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

We use various freight companies to deliver our gift boxes, baskets and hampers and require a signature from a person 18+ years of age at the recipients address, unless specified that the parcel may be left by the front or back door if no one is home.  If instructions have not been given, a card will be left for the recipient to collect the hamper from the freight depot or to arrange redelivery.

Gifts containing alcohol can only be ordered by a person 18 years and over and must be signed for by an adult, 18 years and over.

*Note: We recommend that you have the recipient sign for the delivery as we are unable to take responsibility for packages that do not require a signature. A redelivery charge will apply if an incorrect or incomplete delivery address is given.

Can I state the time that I would like delivery to occur?
Depending on when an order is placed, morning or afternoon delivery can be specified (but not exact times) and we take every care to ensure that deliveries are made within the stated timeframes. However, there are times when gifts can be delayed in the delivery process. For these reasons, our delivery time table is a guide only and GC Gift Boxes and Hampers will only advise of approximate delivery timeframes and is not liable for any delay.

During Christmas and other peak times, GC Gift Boxes and Hampers is unable to guarantee preferred delivery dates and the nominated timeframe of deliveries. During these peak times, timeframes will be advised upon confirmation and payment of the order.

What happens if a gift is damaged? 

In the unlikely event that your gift is damaged in transit, please contact us within 2 weeks and we will automatically replace it with a gift of equal value. All we need is a photograph via email of any damaged goods.

GC Gift Boxes and Hampers will not be liable for any loss, damage or expense in connection with a client’s request to forward a parcel through their own nominated courier or entity or if a client has given written permission for a gift to be left at a designated address without obtaining a signature.
