How much is delivery?
The pricing for sending gifts is based on the greater of the actual weight and cubic weight, once the gift is packaged into a courier delivery box. Prices are for one gift only and are based on a specified size and weight (cubic weight of 5kg for all gifts outside of Gold Coast) and if a gift is outside these perimeters, an additional delivery fee may be charge (in most cases we will cover any additional fees due to size and weight), but in some instances we will have to call you to discuss these charges.
All orders placed during the weekend or on public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
At checkout, once you enter your delivery postcode, the available delivery price will be presented. Please select your preferred delivery date on the calendar, on the checkout page.
To ensure prompt and successful delivery it is preferable that you provide a delivery address where someone will be home during business hours to sign for receipt of your gift. It is advisable to consider if delivering to a work address would be better during business hours.
Where possible, we also ask that you provide the recipient’s contact number so that we can contact them in case of an incorrect delivery address or no one answering the door.
If delivering to a secure apartment or rural property with closed or locked gates, a recipient phone number must be provided with your order, so that the recipient can be reached at time of delivery to gain access. If entry cannot be gained, the gift will be returned to our base and you will be contacted to arrange re-delivery, which will incur an additional fee.
For deliveries to business addresses, we ask that you include the business name so that the courier can locate the correct destination more easily. It is usual practice for us deliver to either the main reception, security desk or mailroom depending on the procedure for that particular business.
If delivering to a hospital, please ensure your recipient will still be admitted for the whole day of your preferred delivery date. If a recipient has left the hospital and the gift is returned to us, a redelivery fee will be applicable.
Please provide as much information as possible when sending a gift to a hospital, including the ward and room number.
Gifts containing fruit and helium balloons are not available for delivery outside of the Gold Coast.
Covid 19 and Delivery
Please note that due to Covid-19 our courier services are sometimes taking an extra day to deliver due to the increase in delivery volumes and new handling procedures to ensure safe contact free shipping. On the Gold Coast our same day courier services are delivering same day but gifts can arrive later in the day.

Volume Discounts of Hampers to the Same Destination*Â
If you are ordering 6 or more gifts for delivery to the same address, please ring our office on 07 5535 2879 and you may be eligible for free delivery.
In rural areas we cannot guarantee a delivery date, however we will deliver as close as possible to your requested date.
We only use courier companies that are able to carry fragile parcels, due to the fragile nature of our gifts.
*When ordering, you must supply a business address or physical street address for deliveries. Deliveries cannot be made to PO Boxes.
*Note: We recommend that you have the recipient sign for the delivery as we are unable to take responsibility for packages that do not require a signature.
It is your obligation that the delivery address you provide to us is sufficient and correct at the time of ordering. If we are supplied with an insufficient or incorrect delivery address, this may result in late delivery of your gift and/or additional delivery fees. We assume no liability for mis-delivery if incomplete or incorrect details are provided.
Where a gift is sent to the wrong address due to your error and not returned to us, we will not be able to retrieve the gift and you will need to place a new order at your own cost.
If no one is at home when our drivers attempt delivery and we have access to the property, the driver will leave the gift in a safe place that is out of the sun and discreet from the road. We will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has taken place.
If no one is at home when our drivers attempt delivery, and the driver considers the location not safe to leave, or if we do not have access to the property, we make every effort to contact the recipient if we have a phone number for them (or the sender if we cannot contact the recipient). If we have been unable to contact the recipient or sender, the gift will be returned to base awaiting a response from the sender. An additional delivery fee will be payable.
All orders being delivered to areas outside of our local delivery zone will be shipped via one of our trusted third-party couriers. We regularly use Australia Post and Aramex (Fastway).
When gifts are sent with external couriers, we ship items Monday-Friday as couriers do not work over weekends. This avoids gifts being held up over the weekend in courier depots. Monday arrival dates to areas outside of Gold Coast may not be available. Our team make every effort for your gift to be delivered on or before your preferred delivery date. Whilst every care is taken to ensure accurate and safe delivery, we cannot accept responsibility for unforeseen circumstances, such as theft, or a parcel not arriving at a certain time or place and cannot provide compensation for any late deliveries that are at the fault of the third-party courier. It is the responsibility of the sender to confirm with us an expected delivery time for your specific delivery, so you have an understanding of how long your specific delivery location will take.
Can I state the time that I would like delivery to occur?Â
Depending on when an order is placed, morning or afternoon delivery can be specified (but not exact times) and we take every care to ensure that deliveries are made within the stated timeframes. However, there are times when gifts can be delayed in the delivery process. For these reasons, our delivery time table is a guide only and GC Gift Boxes and Hampers will only advise of approximate delivery timeframes and is not liable for any delay.
What happens if I supply the wrong address for the delivery of a hamper?
Please be very careful in providing us with correct delivery address information. If you provide us with an incorrect address and your order is delivered as per your instructions, GC Gift Boxes and Hampers will not accept any responsibility for the mistake. If we are unable to deliver to an incorrect address and the order is returned to us, we can redeliver but a redelivery fee for the original amount of delivery will apply.

If a client requests their gift to be sent through Australia Post or any other courier service apart from those recommended and used by us, they do so at their own risk and GC Gift Boxes and Hampers will not be liable for any damaged or lost parcels. Delivery charges may also be different to those listed by us, depending on gift size and weight.
During Christmas and other peak times, GC Gift Boxes and Hampers is unable to guarantee preferred delivery dates and the nominated timeframe of deliveries. During these peak times, timeframes will be advised upon confirmation and payment of the order.
What happens if a gift is damaged?
In the unfortunate event that a gift arrives at its destination, damaged through delivery, please contact info@gcgiftboxesandhampers.com.au within 48 hours. Conditions apply
